Whenever I share on social media about a book writing client's success, I have mixed emotions. I never want to steal the attention and thunder from their hard-earned success. And--in life, it's always a both/and, right?--I think there's a way to talk about a client's success as well as my work in a way that supports and upholds their success. Because it's always THEIR work, their native genius, that earns them their success. I create the container and the necessary mentoring so that their inner author can thrive and grow, and so that their ideas and words reach the world.
This week, I'm excited to learn of the success of Melissa Walker. Her book, which will be published next year, is called "Whole-Body Sex: Somatic Sex Therapy and the Lost Language of the Erotic Body."
I coached Melissa to create a book proposal that won over her publisher. I'm grateful for her hard work and thrilled that her important ideas about embodied sexuality will now be available at your book store.
I can't wait to read it.
Here's what Melissa wrote about my book proposal coaching:
"Through my work with Brad I have become a more direct and accessible writer, speaker, and therapist. He helped me loosen my academic speech to uncover my true voice and purpose. While I thought I was just writing a book, I have emerged with a fully integrated vision of what I have to offer the world."
